SaySoDoSo is the personal playground of Philipp Kanape. I am a designer by craft, a digital maker by mindset, an entrepreneur by curiosity.

SaySoDoSo is about sharing my thoughts on digitalization and leadership with those who, like me, see the magic that happens when creative minds, technology, and organizations find the sweet spot to unlock operational effectiveness.

SaySoDoSo is inspired by the belief that execution delivers more value to organizations than overthinking. I believe in the power of the three C's—Concept, Craft, Create—because people find deeper meaning in their work when they focus on creation rather than getting entangled in organizational politics and the destructive forces they bring.

About my Three C's Framework

Concept

Concept is where it all begins—the spark of an idea, a vision, or a challenge that needs solving. It’s about understanding what truly matters and why. This step is where ideation, strategy, and clarity come together, laying a solid foundation before taking action.

Craft

Craft is where ideas take shape. It’s about turning a vision into something real, functional, and meaningful. For me, this step is all about dedication to quality, attention to detail, and refining through iteration. Craft celebrates the art of doing things well—of creating with care and mastery.

Create

Create is the moment of execution—the act of bringing everything to life. It’s where thought and effort become something new, ready to make an impact. For me, this step is bold and dynamic, bridging the gap between vision and tangible results.

I've honed my skills and knowledge through roles as a entrepreneur and product designer collaborating with global companies such as A1 telecoms, HTC, Tchibo, Vodafone, Volkswagen, Porsche, Erste Bank Group, Google, PwC, and Visa-Rambus.

Additionally, I've had the privilege of working with hidden champions like Posch, Kastner & Öhler, Grazer Wechselseitige Insurance Group, Lena Hoschek, Wever & Ducre, Neuroth, Signal Iduna, Usound, and many more.

In 2021, I joined the digital leadership team of the global real estate brokerage brand, Engel & Völkers. Our mission is to transform its digital business to provide industry-leading digital brokerage services for thousands of real estate agents around the globe.

Leading teams in demanding digital product and organizational environments that positively impact business operations drives me. My aim is to create cohesion between business, product, and people, always with a human-centric perspective, a positive, motivational spirit and no bull-shit attitude.
